Studio FAQ

Common questions
about the studio.

Where is the Connecticut Website Company studio located?

Our studio is at 480 Queen Street, Suite C, Southington, CT 06489. About 15 minutes from Hartford, 25 from New Haven, and just off I-84. Free parking on-site, ground-floor entrance, and a freight-friendly load-in for larger props.

What's included in a half-day or full-day studio session?

A studio booking includes the green-screen room, full broadcast lighting grid, three-camera setup, broadcast-grade audio with teleprompter, and an on-set producer/director (Rich Conway or a senior producer). Post-production (editing, color, music, motion graphics) is quoted separately based on deliverables. Voice-over and music licensing available on request.

How big is the green-screen cyclorama?

Twenty feet wide by fourteen feet deep — enough for a wide three-person interview setup, a product demo with floor-mounted props, or a full-body framing for talent in motion. The cyclorama is seamless (no visible corner) so post-production can place talent in any environment.

Can I shoot a month of social-media content in one day?

Yes — and many CT small businesses do exactly that. A typical full-day session captures 10-15 short-form pieces (Instagram Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn videos), then we drip out the edits over the next month. It's the most cost-efficient way to maintain a consistent video presence.

Do you film outside the studio?

Yes — Connecticut Website Company crews shoot on-location across Connecticut for restaurant b-roll, construction site walkthroughs, retail interiors, and 360° virtual tours. On-location work is quoted by half-day or full-day plus travel from Southington.

What's the lead time to book the studio?

Typical lead time is 2-3 weeks from booking to shoot day, depending on script readiness and post-production scope. Rush bookings (under one week) are sometimes possible — call 860-877-7770 to ask.
